Hello Family,

I hope and pray that everyone is doing well. I wanted to inform everyone that our 2025 Family Reunion will be hosted in Memphis, Tn. So, Get Ready, Get Ready, Get Ready!!

First, we are aware that we’re well behind the advance notice, but we look forward to seeing each one of you. Every year it has been something different going on with the reunions, this one will be no different. With that being said, Fareedah and I have decided to have the MHCPPL Family Reunion from June 20th thru June 22nd, 2025, in Memphis, TN. It’s time to get back together and embrace each other and our heritage!

Secondly, we are currently communicating with the Hampton Inn with Hilton Hotel Staff. We’re hoping to get reduced prices; however, we know everything is increasing. Regardless, we’ll keep striving to get the lowest prices possible. This facility is well-maintained and very clean. Additionally, there were also some wonderful Menu Items for their Free Breakfast. It’s in a great location and We believe that you will have an Awesome experience as well if you decide to stay in this Hotel.

The Itinerary for the entire weekend is being finalized. This includes the Meet and Greet (Friday the 20th at 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. CST). Depending upon the Hotel availability, we may have to adjust on a couple of Event Times. The picnic is from 3pm till 7pm

Next, here are the Family Reunion Fees. All Fees should be mailed to Fareedah or Gwendolyn Pippins at the above addresses. Please make all checks payable to me, Fareedah, or you can send money orders as well. You can also make payments via Cashapp or Zelle. If there are any additional pay apps that you would like to use, please let me know and I’ll be glad to establish an account. We don’t want pay issues to be a major factor that will hinder the Family Reunion attendance. But we do need the fees please.

Family Reunion Fees: (Note: The Family Reunion Fee Does Not include the Hotel Costs)

Adults – ages 18 and above $75.00

Children – ages 8 – 17 $25.00

Children – ages 2 – 7 $15.00

Family Reunion Photographs

There will be a photobooth Friday at the Meet and Greet, Family pic and candid photos will be taken. On Saturday for the picnic, there will be a group photo, candid photos of guest games, activities, etc. The price for both days is 20.00

The deadline to register is April 25th, 2025. This date will enable the Family Reunion Committee to make any final changes/adjustments before the month of June. If you’re still unable to Register before this ‘FINAL’ deadline is May 30th, 2025. This will allow the Planning Committee for 3 weeks to make final adjustments prior to the Reunion. After May 30th, 2025, the Registration Fee is $85.00. Sorry, no exceptions.

Everyone starts arriving at will

9:00 pm – until Rest up everyone

Saturday

There will be time for social gatherings, tours and other activities

3:00 – Sunset Family Picnic

Sunset – until Night life sightseeing
